Pride of Place Presentation

The Pride of Place Presentation and Judging took place on the 19th June. The occasion was a great success and the judges were very impressed with our community. The presentation included a trip to Tulloha National School was the judges met and talked to all the school children and the teachers. This was followed by the formal presentation to the judges at Molly Gallivan's Traditional Farm. Once this was complete we took the judges for a tour of Bonane Heritage Park and gave them a rare treat of some cooked meat on the Fulacht Fiadh. At the end of the presentation and with all formalities concluded we then made a visit to Lorge Chocolatier where there was some sweet treats and hot chocolate sampled. It was an honor to represent our community in such a prestigious competition.
